Church History 2003-2010

2003-2009 - Reverend Ricardo O. Crocker served as Pastor. Under Pastor Crocker's leadership, the congregation continued with its desire to beautify the sanctuary, which included painting, carpet installation and refurbishing of the pews. Brother Norman Ross was added to the Board of Trustees. Under Pastor Crocker's leadership, the church was blessed with new associate ministers: Rev. Alvin Mitchell, Rev. John Crocker Sr. and Rev. Blackwell. In 2004, Brother Jimmy Williams were added to the Trustee Board and Deacons William Brown, Lamar Thompson and Claude Johnson were added to the Deacon Board. Sadly on March 22, 2009, Pastor Ricardo Crocker was called home to glory.

March 22, 2009 - February 22, 2010, the church was without a pastor; however members remained encouraged and prayerful as the church went through the process of selecting a pastor. On February 26, 2010, Pastor Ronnie E. Herrell was elected as pastor and installation services were held on May 23, 2010.

March 7, 2010 to Present - Under Pastor Herrell's guidance and leadership, new ministries were started, such as Friday Night Live (a ministry for youth and adults), the Outreach Ministry (a feeding ministry), and the Men's Ministry. We also saw reformation of children's church and the Pastor Aide's Ministry. Deacon Ray Jenkins was added to the Deacon Board and Sisters Camilla Garner, Linda Spicer, Audrey Johnson, and Pamela Russell were added to the Board of Trustees. In 2013, additional ministries were added such as mid-day Bible Study class, Angel's ministry and the Amigo Ministry.
