1973-1990 - Reverend Alfred Norris Jr. served as pastor 1973 until 1975. In 1975 Reverend Bennie Mosley Jr. was elected as pastor. Under Pastor Moseley's leadership, the church saw many changes including paying off the first and second mortgages on the church and numerous other bills. The Lord blessed Pastor Mosley to ordain Deacons Leslie Monroe, Charlie Jones, Hardie Lee, Homer Williams, Jackie Washington, Gusie Cross, W.A. Wilson, Ellis Logans, Theran Butler and Earl Smith. On August 16, 1990, after 14 1/2 years, Pastor Mosley gave his resignation as he and his family relocated to Indpendence, Kansas.

1991-1996 - Reverend Lewis Young Jr. served as pastor. In 1992, Richard Spicer and Leonard Kerr were ordained as Deacons. In 1994, Pastor Young added Alvin Johnson, Theodore West, Thomas Robinson, and Darnell Ross to the Deacon Board. Pastor Young remained with First Baptist until October 1994. Reverend Derrick Lewis was placed in charge of the pulpit while the church was without a pastor.
